Edmund LaCour

Edmund Gerald LaCour Jr. is an American lawyer who is serving as a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama since 2025. He served as the Solicitor General of Alabama from May 3, 2019, to October 2025. LaCour was nominated for federal judgeship once previously, in that instance for a seat in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama.
